Canva is a free graphic design platform used to create social media graphics, presentations, posters, documents and other visual content.
What can you do with Canva?
You can:
- Add filters and text to photos
- Make a snazzy Facebook cover image
- Create social media graphics
- Make Zoom virtual backgrounds
- Make & order greeting cards and invitations
- Design a logo for your online store
- Make a flyer for your organization
...just to name a few! You can start from scratch or use one of the thousands of templates available for each project type. In this class we'll go over the essential functions of Canva from choosing a design type, searching through templates and adding images and text, and then dive into more complex topics like working with videos, using animations, manipulating images, resizing and more. Bring any questions you have, or projects you're working on that you'd like to discuss!
Prerequisite: Participants must be familiar with the keyboard and mouse to attend this class.
If the class is full, please come anyway and write your name at the bottom of the signup sheet. No-show seats will be filled by walk-ins on a first-come, first-served basis.
