Understanding how and where files are saved is an essential computer skill. Using Windows 10 in Part 1 of this three part series, we'll learn about basic concepts of file management including:

  • A look at different types of files
  • The difference between files and folders
  • Where files are stored
  • What file extensions are
  • How to navigate File Explorer
