| The Winter Haven Public Library’s Sensory Room is a unique space for children of all abilities to interact with an array of multi-sensory experiences. The room is located in the Children’s Department and is designed for children to seek, explore and relax through touch, light and sound. Children, together with their families and caregivers, may benefit from calming effects, stimulation, socialization, improved focus, motor skills development, cognitive development, and sensory development. |

The Sensory Room accomodates 3 people total and is primarily available by appointment. Online reservations must be made 12 hours in advance. Walk-ins are permitted depending on room availability. Appointments may be booked up to a month in advance.
