Make an Appointment -
Use the location dropdown to specify where the appointment will take place. Selecting a different location will reload the appointment dates and times that are available to be booked.

Topics Librarians can help with:

  • Library orientation including a tour & website/catalog overview
  • Using the Library’s online resources & databases (AncestryLibrary, Rocket Languages, etc.)
  • Using the Library’s digital collections (Libby or Kanopy)
  • Essentials of Microsoft Word or PowerPoint
  • Basics of using an Android or Kindle device
  • Using email more effectively (attachments, folders, etc)
  • Introduction to social media apps (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok)
  • Introduction to Canva

Things Librarians are NOT able to help with:

  • Instruction on using Apple products.
  • Advise or direct you regarding medical, legal, or financial decisions. This includes anything with credit cards or purchasing products online.
  • Provide technical support for personal electronic devices (i.e. hardware/software installation or setup, data recovery, virus/malware removal, security settings, etc). We can only provide troubleshooting for library resources.
  • Type or proofread documents.
  • Tutor or provide academic instruction.

Book a 30 minute one on one session with a librarian. You can have up to 2 bookings a month, and the appointments can be made up to two weeks in advance. Appointments must be made at least 36 hours in advance in order to give the librarian time to prep. 

*Appointments will be held for ten (10) minutes past the appointment time after which the booking will be canceled. Appointment times will be added every Monday. Available appointment times will vary week to week, and the availability is subject to change depending on the librarian’s schedule. If the appointment is not within the scope of topics listed here, the librarian has the right to cancel the appointment.
